War movies are awesome. But not so in real life. I read this soldier's controversial questioning of the Commander-In-Chief wish to go to war in Iraq:

And i posted my comment at the end. But not sure if they re allowing mine in, i recoil it here:
I m not a US citizen, but from an asian/muslim country. I read with interest this whole piece right to the last comment. Somehow from far here may be a bit obscure about how US runs things. But i feel this brave soldier is slightly off the mark. He should know that the US Admin was never holy in many previous counts. Thus he should not be that naive even so that his dad has shown a better choice himself, joining the Peace Corps (again i wouldnt know what is the present scenario with such context). So he was jilted, fine. But isn't there a procedural and honourable way that one can take his highest commanding officer to task? US is big and steep in historical red-tape. There got to be one specific process of doing this amicably and officially i mean. Rather than going to the press, it sounds abit of a hollywood stance. And that somehow may hurt more sides than it heals. I agree with the feelings of those who went and returned to scream back, be they American or German. Thus we have to be very emphatic and careful on what we do or say next. It is a thin red line.
